Situated at the back of a 19th century high street store, Aldeburgh Cinema has been screening films since 1919 with many of its original features including magnificent art deco lights still in place to day. Screening a mix of indie and blockbuster movies, the cinema caters for a wide range of interests with something for everyone.
Over the years, National Lottery grants have enabled significant refurbishment to the foyer and auditorium seating, with its recognition as a community enterprise legally reflected by the Registered Charity status granted to the establishment in early 2003.
