5th December 2013 - Nish Kumar
Earlier this year, Nish Kumar performed a sell-out run at the Soho Theatre. Since then he has been nominated for “Best Show” at the Leicester Comedy Festival, appeared on XFM, lost three phone chargers, done a critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe and filmed an episode of Stewart Lee’s “ Alternative Comedy Experience” for Comedy Central. As heard on BBC Radio 4.
6th December 2013 - Joel Dommett
Joel has had a hugely exciting career since starting stand up comedy in 2007. He was the face of MTV in 2012 and presented their daily news bulletins. He also worked on the live E4 aftershow, Live in Chelsea, How to Survive a Disaster Movie (Channel 5) and the hugely successful Impractical Jokers (BBC3). Joel is one of the fastest rising stars on the UK comedy circuit having gained rave reviews for his debut solo Edinburgh show, Neon Hero, in 2011 and this his second show ‘Nunchuck Silver Medallist 2002‘ in 2012. Joel has since performed stand up on Russell Howard's Good News on BBC Three and has numerous acting credits to his name, including Skins on E4 and Popatron on BBC Two.12th December 2013 – Mae Martin
“Let’s have a nice time, for once in our terrible lives!” After a stellar year (Russell Howard's Good News, BBC Radio 4), Canadian Mae Martin is live on stage doing what she does best. 2013 was Mae's third successful year at the Edinburgh fringe (Underbelly), where her show was critically well received and made her the only female finalist in this year’s Amused Moose Laughter Awards. She is currently supporting Nina Conti on her UK wide tour and can be seen on ITV2's comedy panel show Fake Reaction later this year.13th December 2013
- Iain Stirling
Iain performed his critically acclaimed solo show to sell out audiences at Soho Theatre earlier this year and has played at some of the most established gigs in the country, including the Stand (Edinburgh and Glasgow), the Comedy Store (London and Manchester), The Glee and The Brighton Komedia, and was dubbed one of Scotland’s “hottest newcomers” (The Scotsman), after his performance at Glasgow Old Fruit Market to over 750 people. Iain has performed on Russell Howard's Good News (BBC3), appeared as a panellist on Fake Reaction (ITV2), warmed up for Rhod Gilbert and in 2013 he supported Russell Kane on his nationwide tour. 20th December
– Carl Donnelly
A Soho Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe favourite, Carl started performing stand-up in 2005 and quickly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting young comedians. His conversational, silly sense of humour saw him win a host of awards (Chortle Best Newcomer 2007, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2007 among others) and become a regular at all of the finest comedy clubs in the UK and Ireland. Since then he has appeared on various TV shows including Mock The Week, Dave’s One Night Stand, Stand Up for the Week and Russell Howard’s Good News and is currently on his first national tour with his Foster's Comedy Award nominated show Now That's What I Carl Donnelly:Vol V.
