The super stylish Brudenell Hotel provides a setting which will effortlessly inspire discovery and creativity, as well as feeding the imagination.

In a quiet corner of the hotel is the Avocet, a well proportioned room with plenty of natural daylight. Seating 20 delegates theatre-style or 18 around a boardroom table, the Avocet is equipped with State of the Art AV equipment, including WiFi and a 55" LCD flat screen Blu-Ray DVD player and surround sound theatre system.

The Avocet's private sea-facing terrace is ideal for brainstorming or break-out sessions, and the invigorating, fresh smell of sea air will stimulate and rejuvinate even the weariest of delegates. It also provides a scenic setting for pre-dinner receptions.

Team bonding

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Aldeburgh and the surrounding area provides an inspirational setting for corporate events. With its wide skies, long shingle beach and gentle heathland terrain, it offers a wide range of challenging and exciting team building activities. Five minutes' drive away is our sister venue, Thorpeness Golf Club, which has the reputation of being one of the finest courses in the country. We can offer reduced green fees, or for those new to the game, introductory tuition by one of our Professionals, followed by a competition on the practice ground. We can also arrange paint balling, archery, clay pigeon shooting, bike hire, boating on Thorpeness Meare, sailing, tennis, and with a little imagination and team effort, much more.

Feed the mind

Suffolk is a natural larder and our award-winning head chef, James Barber, sources only the freshest, highest quality produce available to him from the land and sea close to Aldeburgh. Choose from the exciting and seasonally inspired menus served in our sea-facing AA two rosette restaurant, or opt for private dining in the Avocet.
