Dining in The White Lion’s AA rosette restaurant is refreshingly different. Lead by Head Chef, Eleanor Richmond, the brigade of chefs are quite simply passionate about cooking and source fresh produce from local suppliers to create simple yet intensely flavoured dishes.

The Bar Restaurant, with wonderful sea views, serves traditional home-cooked lunches, ideal for those with hearty appetites, whilst the oak-panelled Restaurant 1563 offers fine dining in the evening. The bar is well stocked with a variety of real ales and an interesting selection of fine wines, designed to complement a variety of meals and occasions. |
During the Aldeburgh Festival and the August proms at Snape Maltings, the hotel can provide guests with pre-concert meals or late suppers. Delicious picnic hampers can also be arranged during the August proms.
Both restaurants operate a non-smoking policy and the dress code is smart casual.
