The Brudenell HotelCoast Magazine 10 Best Treat Hotels
We are delighted to have been voted amongst Coast magazine's top 10 'treat hotels', as featured in the November 2010 issue. "How many hotels can offer the sound of waves breaking on a pebbly beach to the front and soporific views over marshes to the rear? The revamped Brudenell Hotel can. And its 44 rooms, decorated in pale blues, creams and caramels are guaranteed to get you feeling stress-deficient too"

Suffolk: You'll wish you lived here...
The restaurant at The Brudenell Hotel is the one to which I'd constantly return. First of all, it's the only one with a proper sea view. Nowhere else can you eat a fish while looking straight into its home. The head chef, leaves no fish unturned in his search for distinctive flavours. The seared scallops with celeriac purée are - well, they're searing - aren't they?

The best region for food producers
Suffolk – The best region for food producers.

The Telegraph 13th March 2010

This is a county where, if you only scrape the surface, you will find enough food to fill you to your ears. Villages still have small butcheries; roadside honesty box sales of honey, eggs, vegetables are typical; and fishermen sell their catch from beach huts.

The richness of Suffolk is not an accident. Locals are loyal to their independent shops and have fought to keep the superstores out.

Each year in late September, the county's great produce is celebrated with a Food Festival in Aldeburgh. Look out for it.
