Thorpeness Tennis Academy with Amanda Keen

If you want to improve your game with the help of a tennis professional, why not join one of our residential tennis academies. Amanda Keen, the daughter of former Wimbledon finalist Christine Truman, was formerly ranked UK No. 2, World No. 207 and played Wimbledon on four occasions.

Amanda’s expertise will enable you to improve your serve, general court awareness and net play and is aimed at players who are looking to move their game up to the next level.

Dates:- 14th and 15th November 2011, 16th and 17th January, 6th and 7th February, 5th and 6th March 2012

Cost:- £160 for two people.

What’s included?

One night’s dinner bed and breakfast at the Brudenell Hotel for two people sharing a twin or double room, including full English breakfast and a three-course evening meal, one hour’s tennis coaching in a group of up to eight people on both days of your stay, free unlimited use of the tennis courts throughout your stay and the opportunity to pay for further individual tennis coaching with Amanda at the rate of £30 per hour. You will also benefit from discounted green fees at Thorpeness Golf Club.

Venue

Amanda Keen’s tennis academies take place at Thorpeness Country Club, situated on the beautiful Suffolk Coast. Play will be on one of six hard courts. There are also two grass courts, which are playable during the Summer months.
