“Gorgeous, luxurious hotel. We last stayed here for our honeymoon, twenty years ago, when the hotel was part of the Trust House Forte group. Hard to recognise the place as it has undergone major investment in the interim. The whole place is light and airy and the rooms are just wonderful with some really thoughtful touches. Food also lovely with the best breakfast in ages."

"We could have been abroad! Stayed for two night break and absolutely loved the hotel. From the moment you walk up to the steps to Reception and look out through the glass doors to the sea you imagine you could be somewhere abroad. We had a double sea view room which was very tastefully decorated. Attention to detail was obvious - even the Do Not Disturb sign was different in that it was a "message in a bottle". Lovely terrace to sit and have drinks. Definitely would stay again in the future."

"Our room was something very special indeed and the view from the balcony must one of the best in the UK. Seriously, where else offers such a view of both the sea, shore as well as beautiful countryside – including several churches and TWO castles!
I love the fact that the restaurant appears like it is actually on the shore – you can’t see the road at all – and I can’t think of such a quality restaurant that is so close. Staff for the evening meal knew the menu well and could offer advice. The Manager (South African gentleman) was especially good. Overall the staff come across has being genuinely proud of the hotel and happy to work there, which added massively to the quality of our stay."

"We didn’t want to leave, stayed up ‘til midnight on the balcony and then got up early to watch the sea, slept with the patio door open so we could hear the sea. Truly a fabulous escape and relaxation. We arrived about 4.30pm and now I wish I had made it there much earlier, as soon as check-in permits to maximise my time in the room and balcony! I was not expecting such a fabulous room complete with our own balcony – we were so excited when we saw that. It was like an extension of my 40th Birthday 2 wks ago and I could continue the celebrating in style. We felt like royalty and were so delighted to be there. You have made our month and have converted us to total raving fans, will be talking about this for a very long time."

"After so many visits to your hotel, it was wonderful to see the transformation that has taken place with the refurbishment of the hotel, and the subtle changes that have been made to improve things. What was so good about what has happened at the Brudenell is that is has evolved rather than changed, with the improvements not interfering with what was already so good.

The standard of customer care is equal if not better than most hotels that I have stayed in around the world, which is a credit to the management and staff alike. The food in the restaurant was divine, complimented by a sensible wine list that provides a great choice of wine. The quality of the breakfast was impeccable.

Above all, the friendliness and the quality of the staff attention throughout the stay was first class, and as I have already said, rates with the best I have experienced. Nothing was too much trouble, always delivered with courteous professionalism, topped with a smile."
