Our wonderful hotel on Aldeburgh’s seafront has been awarded the coveted AA Silver Star Award for 2015 for high standards of hotel keeping, superior level of quality, hospitality, service and cleanliness. Placing us nearer the top of its four star grading, the award follows a recent visit by an AA inspector.
So how does it work?
Well, in order to meet the AA’s criteria for this award, hotels must also have at least one current rosette for culinary excellence; our Seafood & Grill has held two rosettes for several years. Focusing on ethically-sourced local produce from land and sea, it is fast becoming recognised as East Anglia’s premier seafood destination thanks to Head Chef, Tyler Torrance and his kitchen brigade.
Delighted with the Silver Award, General Manager, Peter Osborne, commented; “We owe this fantastic accreditation to the hard work and dedication of our team, it would never have been possible without them. My sincere thanks and congratulations to everyone involved.”
Our 44 bedroom hotel is located right by the seafront, just a step away from the shingle beach on Suffolk’s Heritage Coast. It benefits from panoramic sea views to the front, while at the back it overlooks the river Alde and surrounding countryside. We'd love to have you.
