We love gin any time of the year, but it always seems even more delicious in the summer months. Hard day at the office? its gin time! Back-breaking gardening in the sun? its gin time! 3pm Saturday afternoon? It’s gin time!
There are so many delicious gin cocktail ideas for any occasion, here we share our favourites:
The classic gin cocktail, simply serve with ice and a slice of lime. Squeeze in some grapefruit juice for a zesty twist.
Our very own ‘high tide’ cocktail is Fishers gin & Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic. Fishers gin combines rare old English herbs & botanicals with distilled barley, sourced from East Anglian farmers. The gin is distilled at the Copper House distillery.
Our ‘Good vibes’ gin cocktail is the sister cocktail to our ‘high tide’ cocktail. It’s Pinkster gin & double Dutch pomegranate & basil tonic. Pinkster gin is deliciously dry with a hint of fruit and an exceptionally smooth finish.
This cocktail lets the gin do all the talking. It has a light citrus flavour that ensure that the gin notes shine through. Make with sloe gin for extra kick.
In your cocktail shaker add mint, lime, gin, and sugar and ‘muddle’. To muddle press the ingredients against the side of the glass which helps to release the flavours of the fresh ingredients so that they bind with the alcohol better. Then add cucumber slices to the shaker and shake vigorously. Pour mixture over glass filled with ice and top with tonic water.
