Booking your stay

Dogs are allowed in all of our room types, which means you can effortlessly choose the room and rate that works for you.
If booking your stay online, please go through the booking process as usual and add the dog charge after you have chosen your room. The charge, which is usually asked for on check in, and not when you book, will be waived.

Public areas

We welcome dogs in our lounge and on the terrace. Our full menus can be made available in these two areas, which means you can still experience the delicacies of our Seafood and Grill restaurant with your dog comfortably snoozing under the table.

Beach area for dogs

Between the 1st May and 30th September every year, dogs are not permitted on the main stretch of the beach in Aldeburgh. However, The Brudenell is perfectly located next to where the restriction ends. So within a few steps, you and your dog can enjoy the beach without any worry. Crag Path, a walkway which sits between the hotel and the beach can be used for walks all year round, so you can still enjoy the sights of the coast with your dog in tow. The dog restriction at the other end of Aldeburgh going towards Thorpeness, stops a few minutes' walk from our sister hotel, The White Lion. Dogs can then go on the beach from that point until you reach Thorpeness, where there is a sign stating where the next restriction is in place. From there, if you head towards another of our sister hotels, Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel, a countryside path (identified by the public footpath sign), which is away from the road, can be found just before the third tee. This will take you back into Aldeburgh.
