There is something particularly appealing about sitting around a large table with friends, a few bottles of great wine, personal service and of course something seriously good to eat. Why not mark a special occasion with a private party in our private dining room? The Avocet not only offers a stunning sea view, with the extra space of the outdoor terrace, we can create everything you need for a relaxed, intimate private party or reception. With space for up to 20 people dining, or 30 people for a standing reception. We charge £50 for the room hire of The Avocet.
Suffolk is a natural larder and our award-winning head chef sources only the freshest, highest quality produce available to him from the land and sea around Aldeburgh. Choose from our exciting and seasonally inspired menus, served in our sea-facing restaurant, or opt for private dining in The Avocet with menus tailored specifically for your party. Since no two events are ever the same, menus can be specifically tailored and designed around your individual event & budget. Our wine lists have been carefully selected with the intention of providing quality, value and variety. It features many recognised names with proven track records, alongside some lesser-known stars of the future.

When choosing to host your business event at The Brudenell we aim to provide you with a unique and inspiring work environment with professional, attentive and friendly service.
We think of The Brudenell as a truly individual place, situated in the quintessentially British seaside town of Aldeburgh and just a pebbles throw from the beach. It has fabulous panoramic views of the Suffolk coast stretching from Thorpeness to the Martello tower and beyond.
The Avocet Room is a peaceful haven situated away from the hub of the mail hotel. With its own private access it provides a wonderful setting all year round for small meetings and team away days. The room directly overlooks the North Sea and during warmer months the patio terrace is an ideal spot for brainstorming sessions in small groups. The invigorating fresh smell of sea air should stimulate even the weariest of delegates.
